Here in the Athletic Zone we’re all on this journey ‘to be better’ as a team – What it means to you ‘to be better’, will be different to the next person and their level of compliance and commitment to be better will also be different to yours.
Where ever you are at, one thing is for sure it’s not easy. Is it worth it? You know the answer to that, of course it is. This quest to be better, to constantly challenge yourself and each other is what keeps you coming back day after day, week after week, month after month. This is the CrossFit community, an incredibly supportive, motivating and fun environment that helps people achieve a level of fitness and health that can’t be replicated.
Having the whole support of the AZ group there with you every step of the way sharing your challenges, successes and triumphs cannot be underestimated!
Each month we recognise one of our athletes who may or may not know how much they are inspiring those around them with their achievements in and out of the Athletic Zone.
Our Athlete of the month receives a massage voucher with the Healing House for being an inspiration to others here in the AZ.
Shannon Bain Athlete of the Month May 2015
Shan was part of our soft opening in December and has been one of our most consistent and dedicated athletes since.
Shan quietly goes about her business constantly striving to better each and every session. She is consistent with putting in the time to work on her skills, and gives her best every session. It is with this dedication and persistence that Shan has become one of our top performers.
From all the coaches it gives us pleasure to recognize you as our May Athlete of the Month. Well done Shan and very well deserved.
